Botswana Defence Force Air Arm

After independence from Britain in 1966, Botswana established its own army, with an air transport and communications capability. In 1996, it acquired 10 CF-5A (F-5A fighters and 3 CF-5B conversion trainers, as well as 7 Pilatus PC-7, also used for training, and 10 Britten-Norman BN-2A Defenders.
