The Aviation Collectables Shop is open!! This is a venue for people to both sell their wings and other military aviation collectables and to advertise their wants, to find those elusive missing items. These three dedicated pages are not an auction site. Buyers and sellers can simply, for a fee, list their sales and wants to a global audience. At last count, the site has over 2,000 repeating visitors from a huge array of countries. I expect that this will rise dramatically as the site is loaded and many of the single visit people will start to return. Take a look!
Errors and glitches from the site transfer are still being worked upon. Watch out for new images coming soon.

The site has been moved to its expansion site! Welcome! You may notice a few glitches on some pages for a short while, but we are working on sorting through them as we discover them. These are technical issues caused by a change in software. In the forthcoming months you will see continued listing of new images and historical text. I hope this will be good news to those of you who have almost given up on me? I have finally managed to locate a reliable, fast, affordable bulk storage and high level of access web server on which to locate this website. Next I have to learn how to move from Tripod. This will not happen imemdiately due to other committments, but rest assured that this project is back on track over the winter!! Once the move is made, you will be redirected from Tripod and advised to make a new bookmark for the site.

Please note that due to circumstances beyond my control, I have to relocate myself 800km north of home for the next week and then again for much of August. I am hauling my computer up there with me. I will have internet access up there, at least in theory, but only via 56k modem. Consequently it is unlikely that I will be able to get much in the way of new images uploaded for a few weeks. However, I will try to use any spare time I have to work on the image bank in preparation for a large amount of uploading during the Autumn. PLEASE make use of the utility on the HOME PAGE to register for update information. I know there are a lot of regular viewers, but only two or three of you have registered your email adresses. I do not get to see or know the addresses, which are held secure by the server. I hope to keep working on the actual site during the summer, as and when I can, but I am making no promises!!

Continued service disruptions on Tripod appear to be causing an intermittent, unfortunate and inaccurate message to be displayed when logging to World of Military Wings and may lead you to believe that this site is no longer in existance. I wish to assure you this is an operational problem at Tripod. Eventually I will have to move this site from Tripod, as its size and bandwidth parameters will exceed what can be supplied by Tripod. However, that time is some way away. Please be assured that my intention is to keep this site up and growing. You will always be able to find the site when it is relocated, as I will maintain my Tripod site as a forwarder.

Although progress appears to be slow on loading images, please be aware that cleaning, sizing and preparing images is a time consuming process which has to be taken before they can be uploaded. We are actively working on image preparation.
