    This badge was worn on the sleeve by members of the Citizen's Air Force, (reserve) between 1948-75. This badge on the surface of it looks the same as the Australian Flying Corps (AFC) patch, but should not be mistaken for it. The Citizen's AF patch is an all in one embroidered patch, while the AFC patch is made up of many individual pieces sewn into one badge and mad eof cloth and wool.
