    This is the pilot badge style first issued in the mid 1950's. It utilises the Ceylonese Crown in place of the British "Queen's" Crown which came into use in 1953.This version is rather more outstretched and uses a thinner thread than item #3.

    This is the pilot badge style first issued in the mid 1950's. It utilises the Ceylonese Crown in place of the British "Queen's" Crown. This version is rather more arched in the wings with a thicker weave than item #2.
